Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist II

Ballston Spa National Bank (BSNB) is looking to hire a Commercial Loan Documentation Specialist II to play a key role in the support of our growing commercial loan portfolio and BSNB's customers.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE COMMERCIAL LOAN DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST II
This position is responsible for providing support to the Commercial Lending and Credit Department areas in document preparation, closing coordination, interfacing with customers and legal counsel, commercial relationship managers, and performing management reporting as required.
You will prepare or oversee the preparation of basic, large dollar and complex commercial loan documents, ensuring completeness and conformity to credit approvals and conduct loan post-closing review to ensure proper execution and notarization of loan documents, and identify document exceptions for reporting and clearing in a timely manner. You will also prepare loan closing checklist and ensure quality control review of documentation package prior to closing.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE COMMERCIAL LOAN DOCUMENTATION SPECIALIST II
• Three to five years' banking experience in commercial loan documentation required;
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Experience working with LaserPro or other loan documentation software required;
• Proficiency in Office software systems and strong attention to detail required;
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to interact with and partner with appraisers and attorneys;
• Familiarity with loan accounting systems.
