About the role:
We have an opportunity for a Commerical Manager Pre-Contracts to join our team. In this position you will play a key role in all front end commercial and contract management reviews and assessment for all new major renewal opportunities to ensure the commercial integrity of the line of business is maintained and enhanced through effectively managing all pre-contract commercial activities. Supporting our bid responses including contractual positions and cost modelling deliverables across our Infrastructure Services sector.
The successful candidate will take a proactive and collaborative approach to identifying specific risk and opportunities and contribute to the successful growth of our business.
This position is a full-time permanent opportunity with flexible working spending time in the office and work from home.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or associated relevant experience.
Commercial experience in a relevant Industry.Experience with operate and maintain, facilities management service, design and construct and infrastructure tender responses.
Solid knowledge of risk management and can assess key assumptions on rates and unit rates.Understanding of pre-contract commercial activities.
Broad understanding of internal commercial process compliance requirements.
Pro-active approach, self-motivated individual with a desire to be successful in work winning activities.
Experience with contracts and comfortable dealing with understanding and analysis of relevant financial drivers.
Enjoy working with internal stakeholders and bid team members as well as external customers.
What you'll be doing:
Identify contract specific risks and opportunities including legal, environmental, operational, safety and other relevant aspects.
Lead risk and opportunity review process for complex contracts, identify associated costs and implement mitigation strategies.
Design innovative commercial models that optimise profit while providing value add/continuous improvement to clients.
Lead tender negotiations and assist in contract awards.
Oversee cost model build to ensure optimal position is reached for tender success.
