Job Description
PrimeTask Industries is seeking a high-caliber Commercial Operations Manager to join our Level 15 Kent Street headquarters. This is a critical leadership appointment at $180,000, designed for a professional who can bridge the gap between high-level financial strategy and day-to-day operational execution. We need a "Commercial Architect" who can optimize our service delivery models, manage high-value vendor relationships, and ensure our operational scaling remains both profitable and compliant.
The Commercial Mandate
Revenue Operations: Identifying and mitigating "operational drag" by streamlining the lead-to-cash lifecycle and optimizing resource utilization across our project teams.
Contractual Governance: Overseeing the commercial integrity of our client and vendor agreements, ensuring that all operational delivery remains within the agreed scope and margin.
Operational Budgeting: Managing a complex OPEX budget and providing the executive team with real-time analysis of project profitability and cost-containment opportunities.
Process Transformation: Leading the implementation of enterprise-level systems to improve data transparency and cross-departmental efficiency.
Expertise Required
Professional Tenure: 8+ years in a senior commercial or operations role, preferably within a B2B services, industrial, or technology environment.
Financial Literacy: Strong ability to interpret P&L statements, manage operational budgets, and conduct deep-dive cost/benefit analyses.
Strategic Leadership: A track record of transforming disjointed operational processes into a unified, scalable "commercial engine."
Stakeholder Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite decision-making through data-driven insights.
Position Particulars
Remuneration: $180,000 per annum + Super.
Location: Sydney CBD (Level 15, 201 Kent Street).
Engagement: Full-time, Permanent.
