Mainframe Team Lead

About the team
Team Develops and implements solutions that require analysis and research. Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments. Possesses knowledge in a specific business area.
What you will be doing
• Ability to work with stakeholders spread out in different geographies.
• Able to Track projects on Schedule and Budget.
• Identification of Risk and Mitigating them proactively.
• Experienced in interacting with Clients and senior leaders.
• Ability to lead a team, distribute work and get it completed on time with good quality.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication.
• Must be able to partner with the Development Leader, assess priorities and own projects end to end.
• Able to provide Production support as needed when issues encountered in Production.
• Must be able to track progress of assigned work and report accurately.
What you bring:
• Must have owned Projects/teams.
• 8 to 14 years of Cobol Development Experience (Mainframe/Unix/Linux).
• Strong knowledge on COBOL,DB2, JCL.
• Experience in VSAM, File-Aid for MVS, File-Aid for DB2, XPEDITER and ENDEVOR.
• Strong programming and analytical skills
• Production support skills preferred
Added bonus if you have:

• Knowledge of financial services industry
• Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
