Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a strong focus on retail leasing
Membership in good standing in the state bar
Proven track record of successfully negotiating retail leases
Proficient in real estate law, contract law, and corporate law
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
High degree of professional ethics and integrity
Proficient in legal research tools and software

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will primarily focus on negotiating retail leases and manage other related real estate transactions

As a Commercial Real Estate Attorney, your responsibilities will include
Negotiating, drafting, and revising retail leases and lease-related documents, including amendments, assignments, and subleases
Advising and collaborating with clients on all aspects of retail leasing transactions
Conducting legal research and providing legal opinions on various real estate matters
Managing outside counsel in real estate litigation matters
Advising on real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence, contract negotiation, and closing
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to real estate transactions
Collaborating with internal teams to develop strategies for complex transactions
Assisting with real estate portfolio management and strategy
