Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Ryder System is seeking a qualified individual to join our team and perform routine vehicle maintenance, diagnose complex issues, and carry out advanced repairs.
About the Role
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of heavy-duty vehicles and use your analytical and repair skills to resolve complex mechanical and electronic problems. You'll also interact with customers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions.
Responsibilities
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computers/software.
• Carry out advanced repairs with minimal support.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints and provide solutions.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
• A high school diploma or equivalent, preferred; post-secondary degree or technical certifications, a plus.
• Four years or more of relevant work experience, preferably in a diesel mechanic or automotive repair setting.
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical and repair skills, as well as effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
