Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commi I at VANGARD HOSPITALITY LLP, located in Kochi. The Commi I will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items in accordance with the menu, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, assisting senior chefs in food preparation tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met. Attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences are key expectations for this role.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plate presentation
• Understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety standards, and sanitary regulations
• Ability to work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff and follow recipes and directions
• Basic organizational and time management skills to ensure timely food preparation
• Previous experience in professional kitchens or culinary training is preferred
• Passion for culinary arts and a keen interest in regional cuisines, particularly Kerala cuisine
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
