Job Description
- Taking inventory of Culinary and Cafe supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
- Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers. Maintain the temperature log (Hot & Cold Holding) in Kitchen, and Cold room
- Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized.
- Plating and presenting meal items as per the Chef’s instructions.
- Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
- Preparing basic salads and sauces as directed by the Chef.
- Taking care of Student’s Cafeteria (Culinary Institute) and prepare Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Hi-tea in daily basics.
- Assist the Chef for creating a theme menu, Cafe menu, and other banquet party menus.
- Prepare, Pack and maintain the records of Pickle, Jam, Sauces etc from veg processing kitchen unit
