Commis Chef – Manchester – Luxury Hotel – A talented Commis Chef is required in Manchester for this contemporary luxury hotel. The hotel is lavishly decorated with over 50 bedrooms and offers a high standard, modern restaurant which will be run by a Head Chef with a Michelin Star background and will bring a world of indulgence for diners. You will be an eager and professional Commis Chef and be wanting to learn as much as you can. The restaurant provides a wide range of modern British dishes on an a la carte menu as well as a delectable, gastronomic tasting menu that truly demonstrates the excellent standard of food available here. Along with other more informal dining areas, the hotel also offers a plush bar and lounge area and is popular with conferences and special events. This stylish hotel has a modern feel partnered with a friendly 5 Star standard of service.
As Commis Chef you will be expected to work on different sections of the kitchen supporting senior chefs and you should have a great attitude and willingness to learn new skills. You must have either your NVQ's in Catering or at least 12 months experience of working in a high quality kitchen and will be given ongoing training to help make you the best chef you can be. The role would suit an eager Commis Chef who is looking to settle into a role where they can develop their culinary techniques and progress their knowledge as a chef.
