Job Description
• Draft clear, concise, and well-structured circulars and official communication for parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all circulars follow school-approved formats, tone, and brand standards.
• Ensure sensitive communication is drafted with appropriate tone, professionalism, and discretion.
• Proofread and quality-check all circulars before release to ensure error-free communication.
• Support the creation of emergency or urgent communication when required.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to verify details (dates, timings, safety instructions, logistics) on school communication.
• Convert raw inputs from teachers or departments into polished, coherent communication.
• Create engaging and informative content for the school website, including event write-ups, updates, and programme descriptions.
• Support the development of newsletters, brochures, and other communication materials as needed.
• Assist in writing speeches, scripts, event notes, and talking points for school programmes.
Website Content
• Draft content for new web pages, programme descriptions, and department updates.
• Prepare crisp write-ups for academic and co-curricular achievements.
• Update ongoing event information, galleries, and school calendar descriptions.
2. Social Media Management
• Draft captions, posts, and short updates for the schools social media handles.
• Assist with scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and ensuring content aligns with the schools brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams to collect photos, highlights, and updates for timely posting.
3. Brand & Communication Consistency
• Ensure all content reflects the school's tone, values, and communication standards.
• Perform basic proofreading and fact-checking to maintain accuracy and clarity.
4. Coordination & Documentation
• Work closely with academic and admin teams to gather information for events, announcements, and updates.
• Maintain content calendars and assist in planning recurring communication needs.
• Archive communication materials and maintain organised documentation.
5. Support for Events & Campaigns
• Assist in preparing event-related communication (invitations, announcements, post-event reports).
• Help draft social media and website content for school campaigns and initiatives.
Preferred candidate profile
• Prior experience in content writing, communication, or social media (education sector experience is a plus).
• Creative thinking and an understanding of visual–verbal storytelling.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
