The Communications & Business Enablement Partner supports the General Manager and Leadership Team by focusing on executive and internal communications, as well as business enablement. Key responsibilities include driving organisational alignment, enhancing leadership and business effectiveness, and ensuring clear, impactful messaging both internally and externally.

What you will be working on:

This role will shape and execute the GM's communication strategies to elevate the company’s leadership presence while supporting the broader Leadership Team in achieving its goals through seamless operations, prioritisation, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Executive & Leadership Communications ( 70%)

Leading the development and execution of the GM’s integrated communication strategy, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging aligned with corporate priorities

Developing high-impact narratives on critical business topics like innovation and corporate culture and Roche’s broader strategic vision

Crafting and overseeing executive messaging, speeches, presentations, and reports

Managing the GM’s social media strategy to enhancing visibility and positioning Roche as a thought leader in diagnostics

Shaping and implementing external communications strategies for Leadership Team members, positioning them as industry leaders through media engagement and events

Collaborating with global, regional, and cross-functional teams to align messaging with Roche’s broader corporate narrative and objectives

Leading communication strategies for major business initiatives and organisational changes, ensuring clear and engaging messaging that supports change management

Designing and implementing communication frameworks and skill-building initiatives to enhance communication effectiveness across RDA

Leadership Team & Business Enablement ( 30%)

Partnering with the Leadership Team to translate vision and strategy into clear priorities, actionable deliverables, and ensure effective decision-making

Enhancing Leadership Team effectiveness by tracking key decisions, monitoring progress, ensuring accountability, and acting as a central coordination point for clear and consistent communications

Overseeing critical business initiatives, tracking progress and ensuring measurable outcomes, while optimizing cross-functional collaboration and streamlining the execution of business priorities

Who you are:

You are a Communications expert who is passionate about driving business outcomes, excels in crafting compelling messaging for senior stakeholders coupled with strong commercial acumen, and project management skills to drive key initiatives effectively, ensuring on track and measurable impact on organisational goals.

You have:

8+ years or equivalent of professional experience in senior communications, executive support, corporate affairs, or business operations role(s) with proven success in executive communications strategies

Degree or diploma in communications, journalism, public relations or in similar field of studies would be a plus

Extensive experience in strategic social media and brand positioning for senior executives, with exceptional writing and storytelling skills

Demonstrated experience in business operations, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder management, and tracking leadership team priorities

Strong project management skills and effectiveness in managing ambiguity, change, and dynamic environments.

Ability to cultivate strong relationships with executive leaders, driving change, and executing with precision

As an excellent communicator, you are highly organized, proactive, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders to drive organizational alignment. You are precise and accountable in following through on strategies and commitments.

You have a proven ability to build relationships and foster team alignment, promoting an inclusive environment. Your agility in navigating complex challenges and adapting to shifting priorities further highlights your problem-solving capabilities.

This role may require domestic and international travel and full eligibility to live and work in Australia is preferred.
