Job Description
Shades and Shapes Studio is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Communication Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating impactful visual communication across digital and print platforms, ensuring brand consistency and clear storytelling aligned with client objectives and market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop visual communication concepts based on brand guidelines, client briefs, and research
• Design creatives for digital media, social media, presentations, and marketing collaterals
• Create layouts, graphics, illustrations, and visual assets for print and digital platforms
• Translate ideas and messages into engaging visual stories
• Collaborate with internal teams including design, marketing, and production
• Maintain consistency across brand communication and campaigns
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback
• Prepare presentations and explain design concepts to clients
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree or Diploma in Communication Design / Graphic Design / Visual Design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe)
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy
• Good conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of branding and marketing communication
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in branding, social media creatives, marketing campaigns, or print design
• Motion graphics or basic video editing knowledge is a plus
• Portfolio is mandatory (PDF or online link)
