Halter is transforming farming with world-first technology that enables farmers to manage animals and land more efficiently, sustainably, and profitably. Already a leader in New Zealand and Australia, we are scaling rapidly in the United States — and we’re looking for a Communications Lead to help us tell our story.

The Role
As Communications Lead, USA, you’ll be the driving force behind Halter’s communications in our fastest-growing market. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Communications (Auckland HQ) with a dotted line to the US Country Manager, you’ll shape Halter’s profile through proactive PR, compelling storytelling, and effective issues management.
What You'll Do:
Build Halter’s profile across US media and industry channels.
Manage and direct our US PR agency.
Produce content: press releases, media kits, thought leadership articles, talking points.
Provide media training and spokesperson preparation.
Anticipate and manage reputational risks, with local crisis response capabilities.
Support internal communications and executive profile-raising.
What You'll Bring:
10+ years’ experience in communications, PR, or corporate affairs.
Strong media relationships and a record of securing high-impact coverage.
Experience with agency management and integrated PR campaigns.
Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
