Everymind is seeking an experienced Communications Officer to support high-impact communications across the Institute. Based in Newcastle, this role is key to ensuring clear and consistent communication—both internally and externally. You’ll play a vital part in strengthening media and government/community relations, engaging stakeholders, coordinating events, and managing digital content to support our mental health and suicide prevention programs.

About the Role
Reporting to the Engagement and Program Manager, you will work collaboratively with both the communications and project teams to provide communications support and stakeholder engagement both internally and externally. The Communications Officer will have skills in media relations, content creation and distribution across multiple platforms, and the development, implementation, and evaluation of communications plans. The successful candidate will also provide support to the organisation in a range of activities, including media opportunities, events, briefings, and conferences.
