The challenges that await you
You are responsible for coordinating the production of integrated communications to reach the various audiences of the City.
In this capacity, you interact with experts and assess costs, availability, and the production of various communication tools to propose more effective tools that provide a better return on investment.
You validate, write, simplify, and ensure the updating of information disseminated to target audiences regarding laws, regulations, policies, programs, and activities. You join a large team of communication and marketing specialists with whom you collaborate daily.
More specifically, you:
Participate in recommending traditional and digital marketing communication tactics focused on citizen experience and coordinate the production of tools to be deployed;
Ensure the dissemination of information to the Laval population and/or municipal staff through various media and promotional tools and ensure the updating of content, consistency, and follow-up of disseminated information;
Plan and make purchases, coordinate the delivery of materials, and follow up on purchases (control, optimization, and ongoing campaign follow-up) and ensure compliance of billing related to services received;
Finally, you participate in and/or coordinate meetings, discussions, or internal management meetings with colleagues from other divisions or City Services and/or individuals representing external organizations to examine issues within your area of expertise and find appropriate solutions.
The ideal profile for us
Bachelor's degree in communications or any other relevant field;
Have four (4) years of relevant experience;
Master French perfectly and be comfortable defending your ideas and strategies;
Excellent writing and synthesis skills;
Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and handle multiple files at once;
Excellent team spirit;
Excellent client approach, autonomy, flexibility, initiative, and decision-making ability.
