Location: Sydney CBD with access to hybrid working arrangements
Employment Type: Temporary full-time for up to three years.
Salary ranging from $99,938 to $110,271 per annum.

Your role

The Communications Officer supports in planning and implementing communications activities across a wide variety of communications channels and in close collaboration with the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT) and other Communities and Justice business areas.

The role also provides administrative and project coordination support to the NCAT Communications Team.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Communications Manager you will be responsible for managing and delivering online content across digital channels including websites, e-newsletters and intranet platforms.

You will also coordinate events and contribute to the development of educational resources and programs by liaising and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.

You will also

Manage and maintain the Tribunal’s intranet platforms, applying digital knowledge to support usability, accessibility and compliance with Departmental standards.
Assist with the production of NCAT communications including writing, editing, design, production of factsheets, guidelines, brochures, posters, promotional materials, and other materials as required.
Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure that communication is accessible and aligns with NCAT’s brand guidelines.
Maintain effective information and record keeping systems to support the work of NCAT, including contributing to the office’s databases.

What we’re looking for

Experience and/or relevant skills in developing creative and engaging online content, through social media, websites, apps etc.
Ability to develop strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders and provide trusted communications advice and guidance.
Experience using a range of specialised software and media options with limited technical support.
Ability to identify and respond to changing workloads, priorities, and meet deadlines within tight timeframes.
