Job Description
Work with our Trustees and staff team to develop and refine our Communications Strategy.
Work with our internal and external stakeholders to create a range of content for our website, newsletter and varied social media platforms.
Responsible for collecting and telling stories through writing, photography and video production.
Manage and monitor projects, ensuring outcomes are met and The Tindall Foundation is presented to key stakeholders and the public in line with Communication Strategy objectives.
Ensure an effective flow of information to internal stakeholders, including accurate documentation and preparation of Board papers.
Contribute to The Tindall Foundation team by maintaining and sharing current knowledge in your area of expertise and attending and contributing to meetings.
Occasionally liaising with media partners and outlets, including writing and issuing press releases and responding to requests & queries.
About you …
You have a breadth of knowledge & expertise across a range of contemporary communications methodologies, tools and platforms.
You have good understanding of tikanga Māori and are able to connect with Iwi, and Māori and Tagata Pasifika community organisations.
A highly effective written and verbal communicator, you have the ability to create compelling stories which convey the appropriate tone and message.
Your strong interpersonal skills, mean that building warm and effective external relationships comes naturally.
You’re self-driven, but thrive in a collaborate team environment, where you spend most of the week in the office and are able to travel occasionally.
