Job Description
You will study for your teaching qualification one day per week. General Practice training will be delivered at St Charles Borromeo Teaching Hub on Wednesday morning, followed by Subject training in the afternoon.
Alongside your training, you will work as a teacher on a reduced timetable, four days per week, in a well-resourced Health and Social Care department that provides an exciting environment in which to deliver your skills as a teacher. You will be allocated a mentor for your training year; this will be an experienced subject specialist and will have 1.5 hours of protected time per week to support your development.
This is a fixed-term role for one year (the length of your training course). The salary will be paid at Unqualified Teachers Pay Scale Point 1: £28342, inclusive of Inner London Weighting.
