Qualifications
Complete three weeks of training (approximately 3 hours per week) in various issue areas;
Attend two live simulations to learn and practice the virtual platform;
Commit to a minimum of 3 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months;
Have a genuine desire to help members of the community resolve problems;
Speak fluent English; ability to speak a second language is an asset but not necessary;
Be proficient with computers

At our Call-In Center, trained community volunteers offer free information, assistance and referrals to help individuals in need resolve issues without escalating them.
Volunteers play a vital role in increasing access to justice. They provide critical support by directing people to effective resources and ensuring they know their rights.
The Call-In Center Volunteers:
• Support visitors by completing online forms, providing information about government benefits, making advocacy calls, and helping navigate systems and processes.
• Track visitor information consistently and accurately.
