Overview
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Community Safety Officer to join Harrow Council’s Strategy division. Reporting directly to the Principal Community Safety Officer, the post holder will be responsible for addressing anti-social behaviour problems in Harrow and provide professional, expert and up to date technical advice to residents, businesses, members, and key stakeholders. You will be required to work a minimum of 3 days in the office.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• Knowledge of the legislative framework of Anti-Social Behaviour, such as the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014
• Working knowledge of relevant Health, Safety and Welfare legislation and approved Codes of Practices
• Experience in the investigation and preparation and presentation of cases for enforcement or prevention activities
• Experience of working across more than one area of service provision and capable of delivering service at a high level across more than one service area
