Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Company Secretary to join our NBFC team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the financial services sector and a solid understanding of regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and ROC filings. Immediate joiners will be given preference
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Companies Act, RBI regulations, and NBFC-specific regulatory requirements
Conduct board meetings, committee meetings, and shareholder meetings including drafting agendas, notices, and minutes
Prepare and file necessary returns and documents with ROC, RBI, and other statutory authorities
Maintain statutory registers and records as per legal requirements
Handle secretarial audits, annual filings, and related documentation
Liaise with regulatory bodies, legal counsel, and internal departments
Assist in drafting resolutions, corporate policies, and internal governance frameworks
Keep up to date with regulatory changes and proactively implement required changes in processes
Requirements:
Qualified Company Secretary (CS)
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an NBFC or financial services company
Strong knowledge of Companies Act, 2013, SEBI & RBI guidelines applicable to NBFCs
Excellent communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office and secretarial tools/software
