Job description
Responsibilities:
Assist in ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, FEMA, RBI & other applicable laws.
Assist in conducting research on legal and regulatory matters and provide recommendations to the management team.
Assist in filing various applications under IPR such as Patents & Trademarks in India and abroad.
Assist in various compliance related to Manufacturing locations including various approvals as required from local authorities.
Support in drafting and reviewing petitions, written submissions before courts, Tribunals and other legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Assist in Insurance renewals of the Group.
Prepare and maintain company records, registers, and other legal documents.
Coordinate and prepare agendas, notices, and minutes for board meetings, annual general meetings, and other corporate meetings.
Liaise with Stock Exchanges, Banks, external stakeholders, shareholders, auditors, legal advisors, lawyers, and regulatory authorities.
Assist in the preparation and filing of statutory returns, such as annual returns, financial statements, and other relevant documents.
Maintain and update the company\'s corporate governance framework and policies.
Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
Handle routine correspondence and communication related to company secretarial matters.
Requirements:
Qualified Company Secretary Being a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), a Degree in Law will be added advantage.
Basic knowledge of corporate governance principles and statutory requirements.
Familiarity with the Companies Act and other relevant laws and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
