Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional nursing services in the home environment. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will collaborate with colleagues to assess patient needs, prioritize care, and develop high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, working closely with family members and caregivers as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for positive change
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and caregivers, ensuring open communication and empathy
• Participate in educational programs and performance evaluation processes to continually improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Two years recent community nursing experience/broad generalist background
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
• Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
