Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Competitive USA Gymnastics Team Coach to lead and inspire young athletes in their pursuit of excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with talented gymnasts, develop their skills, and foster a positive, motivating environment.
The ideal candidate has a strong gymnastics background and direct experience coaching USA Gymnastics Levels 1–5 athletes, along with current USA Gymnastics certifications. This role is critical in preparing athletes for competition while maintaining a safe, structured, and positive training environment.
Responsibilities
Design and implement training programs tailored to athletes’ skill levels and competitive goals
Lead structured practice sessions focusing on technique, strength, flexibility, and choreography
Monitor athlete progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
Ensure all safety protocols are followed during practices and competitions
Foster a disciplined, positive, and team-oriented environment
Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and leadership
Maintain accurate records of attendance, athlete progress, and incident reports
Required Qualifications
MUST have previous coaching experience with USA Gymnastics Levels 1–5
MUST hold current USA Gymnastics (USAG) certifications (or be able to provide proof prior to hire)
Strong knowledge of gymnastics skill progressions and competitive preparation
Ability to manage athlete behavior and maintain a structured training environment
