Position Purpose
Manage the application onboarding for a Citizenship-by-Investment program which involves reviewing applications, advising on documentation, AML/KYC processes, and managing regulatory policies and audits.
Main Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive due diligence on applications, utilizing reports from external firms and internal police/FIU analysis.
Perform in-depth AML and media investigations, manage documentation, and execute Know Your Customer (KYC) processes to verify applicant identities.
Evaluate and mitigate a wide range of risks, including corruption, fraud, money laundering, data privacy, and sanctions.
Provide recommendations to the Director of Compliance on application acceptance or rejection and escalate high-risk cases.
Ensure adherence to compliance protocols, generate reports for management and audits, and stay updated on relevant legislation and industry changes.
Key Skills and Experience
Proven time and task management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and handling multiple priorities effectively.
Exceptional communication abilities (listening, oral, and written) that enable professional interaction with colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring clear and accurate correspondence.
Solid understanding of compliance processes and industry practices, complemented by proficiency in standard office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM) and effective document management.
At least 5 years of compliance experience in investments, insurance, private banking, or wealth management, with an undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
Strong Chinese language skills are highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
