What to Expect
Tesla is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our North America Sales and Delivery Operations Team. The Specialist will collaborate with field teams and business partners to audit and standardize operations. They will work with field team members and other stakeholders to create visibility and accountability support operational needs such as creation of standard operating procedures, staff training, systems enhancements, reporting, and data analysis.
This position can be based out of anywhere in Canada; as long as you’re close to a local sales center.
What You'll Do
Schedule and conduct both in person and remote audits with local Tesla dealerships throughout the territory
Develop market-specific compliance audit plans based on thorough research of local motor vehicle dealer regulations
Review all relevant activities affected by business regulations, including paper records, electronic records, and privacy requirements
Recommend and implement training to address procedures and practices that are not compliant with dealership regulations
Collaborate cross functionally across departments to analyze potential risks within sales programs and practices to avoid possible compliance issues
Compile reports on the results of dealership audits and present these reports to the relevant senior leadership
Attend educational and professional development programs to improve your job knowledge and enhance our compliance program
What You'll Bring
Impeccable organizational skills and acute attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering messaging in a variety of settings
Ability to quickly identify and solve the root cause of identified problems
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and influence internal business functions and external vendors
An in-depth understanding of automotive industry regulations preferred
Completion of industry-specific certifications preferred
Experience auditing processes or policy compliance in a regulated industry preferred
