Compounder/Aarogya Sevak
Candidate should have D. Pharm. & Registered Pharmacists in Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council with at least one year of experience at the chemist shop or in the similar capacity.
Job responsibilities:
• Dispensing of medicines as per prescription under Drug & Cosmetic Act 1+40
• Patient counselling and compliance to treatment
• Storage and stability responsibility of drugs as per specification (Sch. P)
• Custody of prescription medicines and segregation for non-prescription medicine
• Knowledge and understanding of all aspects of drugs
• Inventory of medicines and management
• Information management for drugs
• Patient history maintenance
• Knowledge of first aid
• Emergency treatment
• Knowledge about laboratory related hazards (eg. Injuries due to lab chemicals, accidents due to fire and gas labs) fainting
• Patient counselling with regard to medicines and diseases
In 1+81, Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) established Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to meet the growing demand for management education.
