Key Responsibilities:
✅ Machine Operation
Set up, operate, and shut down tablet compression machines (e.g., Fette, Cadmach, Korsch).
Adjust machine settings (speed, pressure, fill depth) according to batch requirements.
Ensure smooth operation during the compression process.
✅ Process Monitoring
Continuously monitor machine performance and tablet quality.
Check tablet parameters (weight, thickness, hardness, friability) as per in-process checks.
Identify and address minor mechanical issues to avoid downtime.
✅ Documentation
Accurately fill out Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs), logbooks, and cleaning records.
Record any deviations or issues observed during production.
✅ Cleaning and Maintenance
Perform line clearance and cleaning of machines and surrounding areas.
Conduct minor preventive maintenance; report major faults to maintenance.
Ensure proper cleaning to avoid cross-contamination (especially in pharma settings).
✅ Compliance and Safety
Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
Wear appropriate PPE and gowning according to area classification.
Participate in regular training and audits.
✅ Coordination
Communicate with QA/QC and maintenance teams for line release, sampling, or troubleshooting.
Assist in material loading and unloading as per schedule.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or technical qualification (preferred in pharma).
1–3 years of experience in tablet compression or relevant field.
Knowledge of GMP, cGMP, SOPs.
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
