Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Technician to join our IT support team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain network infrastructure. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting a variety of operating systems at different locations.
Duties
Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and mobile devices across multiple operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Troubleshoot hardware failures, software issues, and network connectivity problems using tools like ServiceNow, Jira, BMC Remedy, and other ticketing systems.
Configure and maintain computer hardware components including desktops, servers, firewalls, LANs, and VPN connections at several client sites.
Support network infrastructure including LAN setup, firewall configuration, and computer networking issues for different offices.
Skills
Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Proficiency in troubleshooting computer hardware components and peripherals.
Familiarity with network protocols such as LAN/WAN configurations and firewall management.
Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal.
Work independently minimum 2 hours plus mileage and parking.
