Job description:

To provide support to the Concessions Coordinator through the effective and efficient administration of the various Passenger Transport concessions schemes, and identify opportunities to improve delivery.

Period of Appointment

Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for 12 months.

Duties

Assess and action applications, prepare payment files where required, and exercise initiative and judgement in applying work practices to resolve day-to-day issues for various Passenger Transport concession schemes in accordance with current policy and guidelines.

Liaise with, and provide timely and accurate information to clients, peak client groups, medical/allied health practitioners, taxi operators and various other stakeholders in relation to Passenger Transport concession issues.

Undertake research, reviews, and provide input into Passenger Transport concession process and policy development. Prepare reports and provide recommendations in relation to Passenger Transport concessions.

Identify potential areas of non-compliance or breaches of concession schemes. Participate in routine and compliance audits in areas of high risk. Construct appropriate reports with recommendations and implement changes to ensure compliance.

Prepare routine correspondence and maintain appropriate filing systems, both hardcopy and electronic as required.
