The Details:
Permanent Full Time | * day fortnight
$72,011 pa - i.e. $36.39 ph (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 4)
76 hour fortnight
Location: Narangba
Step into a hands on role with City of Moreton Bay where your skills make a visible impact on the city's infrastructure. As a Concrete Finisher with Council, you’ll contribute to the upkeep and integrity of key public assets.
What you’ll be doing:
Carrying out concrete works, repairs and general labouring duties across various small projects
Working efficiently as part of a crew and independently
Assisting different teams across the region to deliver reliable, consistent services
Following all safety procedures, and properly using and caring for gear and equipment - including PPE
You’ll play an essential part in strengthening the region’s civil infrastructure and community spaces. Ready to lay the foundation?
About you
We're seeking a skilled concreter with proven experience in placing, levelling and finishing different types of concrete to outlined specifications. If you're confident with the tools of the trade and know how to lay it down right, we’d love to have you on our team.
What we’re looking for:
Solid working knowledge of concrete practices and the physical ability to perform manual tasks safely
Hands on experience in labour intensive roles, ideally in a construction or maintenance setting
A clear communicator who works well in a crew and gets the job done
To hit the ground running, you’ll need to hold:
A current Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence or higher
A Construction Induction Card (White Card)
