Description:

Overview

Lafarge is looking for experienced Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finishers to join our Construction Division. As a Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finisher, you will provide support to the concrete crew in completing both Sidewalk and Curb construction. You will be responsible for setting up forms, setting curb string, concrete placing, collecting materials and keeping a clean site.

Responsibilities

Check forms for accuracy

Direct placement of concrete into forms and surfaces

Finishing of concrete

Operate power vibrators

Knowledge in using hand and power finishing tools

Apply sealing components to cure surfaces

Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task

Dismantle forms for pouring concrete

Compensation:

$25 to $38 per hour - depending on experience

Qualifications

High School Diploma

Prior experience in finishing concrete

Experience working in construction

Specific Experience:

Minimum of 2 years as a concrete finisher

Experience in Leadership

Growth and development mindset
