Are you a detail-oriented organiser with a passion for creating seamless, high-quality event experiences? We're looking for two Conference and Functions Coordinators to manage and coordinate a variety of conferences, meetings, and functions for our new All of Government meeting space.
This is a professional, customer-focused role where you'll be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of events-from venue setup and audiovisual arrangements to catering and client liaison. You'll ensure every event runs smoothly and leaves a positive impression on all attendees.
What you'll be doing:
; Coordinating and delivering a range of events, including meetings, conferences, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
; Managing all aspects of event logistics, including room setup, AV requirements, catering, and signage.
; Acting as the main point of contact for clients and guests, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience.
; Liaising with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
; Monitoring event timelines and responding to last-minute changes with confidence and efficiency.

; Previous experience in conference/event coordination, hospitality, or catering management.
; Sound organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
; Excellent communication and customer service skills.
; Knowledge of catering services, menu planning, and dietary considerations.
; Understanding of AV equipment and conference room setup is an advantage.
; Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
; A positive attitude and professional demeanour.
; Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
; Flexibility to work in alternative buildings when required.
