Ø Strong Proficiency in Operating Systems (Windows / Linux) and software – Admin
Ø Infrastructure Security Management / Patch Management / Configuration Management
Ø Windows / Linux / VMWare / Cheff / Puppet / Ansible
Work with team members in performing research, operation studies, design reviews to maintains a working knowledge of all documented response procedures, including disaster recovery and escalation procedures.
• Identify opportunities for process and procedure enhancements to drive efficiency and customer service levels.
• Monitor and troubleshoot the technical environment for problems and root cause analysis.
• Manage and complete assigned tasks related to deployment and implementation as well as process automation.
• Infrastructure optimization, including right-size of resources and adding or removing resources like central processing unit (CPU) and random access memory (RAM) as needed
• Provide day-to-day operational support and response of all platforms to ensure up-time and availability
• Secure the products in accordance with Dell guidelines and industry best practices for system build configuration. Provide on call support. Serve as subject matter expert for supported technologies.
• Plan and execute configuration change operations both at the application and the infrastructure levels.
• Strong ability and emphasis on automation where applicable; provisioning and patching of endpoints
• Kubernetes basic understanding, CLI, service re-provisioning.
• Operating system (Linux) configuration, package management, startup and troubleshooting.
• Manage in-house developed applications that run on the Linux systems and Kubernetes.
• Good undertsanding of Load balancing and failover
• Business continuity, including moving and copying resources off one data center to another, creating and managing policies for backups, and managing disruptions and failures
