About the role
Name of the position: Connected systems design & development engineer
Educational Qualification: B.Tech (ECE, EEE, Computer Science) with 3.5+years of experience in the design and development of connected products in automotive
or
M.S specialization in embedded systems, wireless communications, Human Machine Interface, and Computer science with >1 year of relevant experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
• SW Systems engineering
• Version control management for HW & SW
• Conduct Logical analysis of architecture
• Conduct Functional and technical design review
• Conduct failure mode & effect analysis on connected features
• Conduct UX review and arrive at the UX for connected features with the stakeholders
• Manage IP & FTOs
• Skilled in converting customer requirements to use case, UML, and state machine diagrams
• Skilled in embedded application development & deployment
• Experienced in the integration of cluster applications in infotainment & connected hardware
• Smart sensor selection & calibration for connected technology feature design & development
• Experience in the development of connected features (BLE, WiFi, GSM), Voice, and Maps
• Experience in debugging wireless communications like BLE, WiFi, and Mesh network
• Knowledge of SW ergonomics, wireless communications, cloud application development
• Experience in the design and development of SW components
• Experience in the design and development of HW circuits
• Build, revise & track technology roadmaps at the domain level
• Define design guidelines
• Feature ownership & on-time delivery
• Conduct frequent reviews with stakeholders on the selection of features
• Responsible for the development of SW libraries for all business logic
• Support with Mobile app research, design, development & deployment
• Responsible for PoC development for all new connected technology concepts across Android, iOS & Linux platforms
• Build applications for phones, smartwatches & other OS-powered devices
• Experience in design, development, and deployment of audio applications, DSP concepts
• Knowledge of homologation standards for HMI and Automotive electronics
