Atlantic Crystals Construction Corporation is part of Florida Crystals Corporation’s real estate division and is a licensed general contractor that constructs FCI Residential Corporation’s projects.

POSITION SCOPE

Construction Assistant (PT) works alongside the Project Manager to plan and execute projects for a company. Their duties include identifying clients’ or stakeholders’ project needs and goals, creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project and organizing and storing project reports and documents.

Detailed Roles & Responsibilities

• Work directly with project managers to help implement project goals

• Assign duties to staff to implement project goals, as needed

• Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution

• Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable

• Liaise with project lead and other project managers to maintain project schedule and efficacy

• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals

• Review project implementation and gather data on project execution

• Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution

Skills

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

• Industry-specific certificates and licenses may be necessary or preferred, depending on industry

• Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution

• Ability and desire to work collaboratively to ensure successful project execution

• Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools

• Proficient with computer operating systems, such as Microsoft and MacOS

• Ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively

• Highly organized and able to multitask.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

Essential Work Experiences

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Essential Education Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.

• In progress and enrolled to complete BA degree in Construction Management or Business Management (or related field is a plus)

• English required (bi-lingual a plus).
