Construction Estimator / Document Control Specialist
Full-Time | In-Office
We’re looking for a Construction Estimator / Document Control Specialist to support our project team by keeping all project documentation organized, accurate, and up to date. This is a high-impact role that helps prevent rework, speed up approvals, and ensure teams are always working from the latest information.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, organize, and maintain project documents (drawings, specs, contracts, submittals, RFIs, permits, change orders, shop drawings, reports, etc.)
Track revisions and manage version control (draft, review, issued for construction, superseded)
Distribute controlled documents to field teams, subcontractors, design teams, and clients
Coordinate review/approval workflows, comments, resubmissions, and transmittals
Maintain logs/registers for RFIs, submittals, NCRs, site instructions, and correspondence through closure
Support audits, inspections, closeout, as-builts, and O&M manual preparation
Provide documentation support for change orders, claims, and project controls
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Familiar with construction documentation and processes
Strong written communication and follow-through
Understanding of contract compliance and QA/QC standards is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
