Job Description
The Construction Labourer provides a variety of construction, maintenance and repair services related to County roads, bridges, culverts, and other infrastructure with a focus on public safety.
Qualifications:
Equivalent to high school diploma with job related courses in the operation, maintenance and construction of roads.
Minimum six months experience in road construction and/or municipal public works maintenance.
G license is mandatory, DZ license is preferred.
Completion of approved training courses including traffic control, chainsaw operations, WHMIS, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc. is considered an asset.
Demonstrated excellent safety record.
Ability to meet physical demands of the position – lift 50 lbs., traverse rough/rocky terrain, stand for long periods, etc.
Flexibility in hours of work.
Must provide personal CSA approved safety boots.

Pay: $26.51-$2+.84 per hour
