Join our growing team at Infrapro Communications Ltd. as a Construction Labourer. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.
The successful candidate should possess the following:
Knowledge & Experience:
MUST HAVE valid BC class 5 driver’s license
Good physical condition
Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to work in confined spaces
Mechanically inclined
Ability to do fine, precise work with their hands
Safety minded
Authorized to work in Canada
Fluent in English (reading, writing and conversational)
Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and customers
Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude
Roles & Responsibilities:
Installing underground and aerial fibre drops for residential housing and businesses.
Placing buried conduits by hand trenching and Hydrovac operations.
Termination and routing of fibre optic cable.
Conduct Optical Power Meter testing of fiber connections.
Remediating Landscaping sites.
Use ladders or bucket trucks to access aerial locations.
Trouble shoot technical issues swiftly and accurately.
Maintain Company Vehicles to ensure good working condition and cleanliness.
Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of Infrapro.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
