Total Horizontal is a full-service Shallow Utility Contractor that specializes in providing safe, efficient, and reliable services to our clients around Western Canada. We are currently hiring for a project in Sherwood Park.
Total Horizontal is seeking Construction Labourers for Shallow Utility Construction. Increased wages dependent on experience and aptitude. Additional training provided with tenure.
Experienced hands will have:
Experience working around Utility Construction Equipment
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Smart Phone and data for HSE & QA Systems
CSTS 2020, fundamentals and modules
WHMIS 2015
Responsibilities
Dress for all types of weather
Follow directions as given, and retain training
Ability to take measurements
Proofing ducts & installing cables
Install subsurface structures
Backfill and compaction, and site remediation
Raking, shovelling, carrying
Driving trucks and trailers
Operating concrete saws, core drills, jumping jacks, trenchers
Spotting equipment
Working with drill crews to prep work
Ability to lift 50-75 lbs
Additional duties as job required
Monthly tool allowance.
Many opportunities for advancement with on the job training in respect to operating Directional Drills & Locators, Skid Steers, Backhoes, Hydrovacs
Open to Canadian residents only.
