Full job description
Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of construction tasks, such as framing, painting, drywall installation, taping mudding, trim installation, demo etc
Operate power tools. Ability to operate heavy machinery (Bobcat, excavator) is a strong asset.
Perform physical labor such as lifting, carrying, and pushing heavy objects.
Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
Work under tight deadlines and in extreme weather conditions.
Follow instructions from supervisors.
Follow safety protocols and regulations.
Job sites are all over the GTA, a car is required.
Candidates who are not currently in Canada or don't have a work permit will not be considered.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as construction worker
Experience in operating equipment like trench skid steers, mini excavators, pneumatic hammers etc.
Knowledge of mixing and pouring construction material (concrete, sand, grout etc.)
Knowledge of basic engineering and construction principles and methods
Able to work in a team
Able to read instructions and blueprints when needed
Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
Excellent balance and eye-hand coordination
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have Car
