This is an opportunity to join a leading Construction team of a top tier national law firm in the UK.

Role Profile:

You will work as part of a high-ranking team based in Edinburgh.
The team advises on all aspects of construction law across various sectors, including buildings, engineering, energy, infrastructure, and utilities in both private and public sectors.
We provide project support and advice to our Real Estate, Banking, and Projects teams.
We are looking for a Construction lawyer to join our Edinburgh-based team to work on a range of construction matters.
This is a dynamic team with a strong reputation for providing associates with early levels of responsibility and opportunities for career development.
Candidates will have a solid understanding of construction law, including building work, process plant, energy, utility, and/or infrastructure experience.
Candidate Requirements:

At least 2+ years of PQE experience in non-contentious construction law, preferably in construction or projects, gained in a comparable environment.
You should have experience drafting various construction documents and JCT contracts (or other standard forms like NEC3).
You will contribute to the upkeep of the group by participating in training, precedents, and know-how.
You will actively support complex transactions, liaising with fee earners from other disciplines as needed.
