About the Role:
As our Junior Legal Counsel, you will provide essential legal support and advice to establish UGL's position in contracts and ensure compliance with legal, policy, and authority guidelines.
You will work closely with our General Counsel and experienced legal team to provide input on legal risks of tenders and general legal advice as required.
This is a key role that requires strong commercial and business acumen, as well as experience with construction contracts.
The ideal candidate will have a Law degree and NSW legal practitioner (or eligible) status.
The Key Responsibilities include:
Assisting the General Counsel, Legal Managers, and Senior Legal Counsels in providing UGL's legal advice and assistance to protect UGL's interests.
Negotiating, drafting, and settling contracts for various projects, including complex heavy engineering and infrastructure projects.
Providing input on legal risks of tenders and general legal advice as required.
