Construction Project Manager/Estimator
The Project Manager’s role is to coordinate and execute all phases of the project including initial estimating all the way through to completion for their portfolio of Interior architecture projects. The Project Lead must interface with internal (sales support, Design, PM) external resources (Vendors, Contractor, Designers & 3rd party PM’s) and be the primary point on all projects. The Project Manager needs to analyze construction projects from multiple angles, determine the best solutions and scope, and create pricing estimates that win profitable projects. This role is client-facing, so a suit and tie will be required on some days!
Responsibilities:
Create comprehensive cost estimates for a wide variety of construction projects.
Verify vendor and subcontractor estimates fall within the defined scope.
Present your estimates to stakeholders and clients
Review incoming RFPs and Bids to analyze whether to move forward
Point of contact and communicator for project including weekly meetings and monthly reports on project.
Skills:
Construction industry related project management skills and 3 plus years of related construction experience.
Ability to communicate on a technical and professional level with project stakeholders
Skilled and negotiating with clients and vendors
Strong client-facing skills, both written and verbal
Corporate interiors experience is required.
