Fantastic opportunity to join an established CA firm in line with their rapid growth in the Auckland region in 2026.
As a senior member of the BAS team, you’ll be working closely alongside the Partners and Directors on a range of clients from different industries.
Owning the end-to-end tasks for an established portfolio of clients
Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties as well reviewing the work of junior staff members
Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of an engagement to achieve desired levels of quality and profitability, including workflow management, expected utilization and productivity targets
Managing the relationship and contact with clients
Looking after VCFO and advisory piece
The ideal candidate
Experience of 2-4+ years in an established NZ Accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level
Confident and forward-thinking individual
Solid working experience of Xero packages as well as industry tools
Extensive knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor, coach and motivate team members.
