About Role
Gartner consulting is looking for a Consultant for its strategy consulting practice, who will work on developing strategy for some of the large enterprises on building their digital roadmap, helping business to leapfrog ahead using breakthrough technologies
What You’ll Do
• Work on consulting engagements for some of the world’s largest Financial Services enterprises on their mission critical priorities including Digital enablement and IT strategy, Application and infrastructure modernization, Cost and vendor ecosystem optimization.
• Demonstrate deep expertise in Core Banking system preferably on packages such as FIS, FiServ, Temenos and program management of large SI
• Understand the client industry issues, exhibit problem solving ability, and develop insight and recommendations based on in-depth research on relevant topics.
• Prepare high quality output in the form of a presentation deck, communicate result by using hypothesis testing, storyboarding and data visualization techniques.
• Use independent judgment in preparing output and seek guidance from experience consultants in the team.
• Demonstrate an inquisitive mindset, ability to think through the problem statement and the proposed solution and ability to ask the right questions to the client and the engagement manager.
• Interface with senior stakeholders within client organization to conduct workshop or interviews, presenting final recommendations
• Demonstrate Gartner value proposition by staying up to date on latest research on technology trends across FS industries
• Contribute to the development of client relationships through excellent quality of output and demonstrating personal values
• Work with globally distributed team of consultants on different client engagements and intellectual property development across multiple industry and technology domains
