What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Personal and Business Banking, Simplii Investments team. As a Business Systems Consultant (BSC), you’ll provide application delivery support, governance / control activities, and adhere to CIBC standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining production applications and day-to-day operational activities which includes 24 x 7 support. You will actively participate in all phases of the project life cycle. You’ll ideate and collaborate with a diverse team to create and set up flexible, innovative solutions that deliver a best-in-class client experience.

How you'll succeed
Understanding and documenting requirements - Work closely with business and technology partners to gather complicated business and technical requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs are met. Create strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
Solution design - Assemble client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
Integrator – Ability to understand system to system integration through network devices and data transmission protocols
Communication and Relationships - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, business team and peers. Demonstrate very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Who you are
You can demonstrate experience of at least 2 years in a mix of a BSA and a production support role. Working knowledge of banking systems or financial services industry. Understanding of the SDLC. You have the ability to articulate and present issues / resolution to both business and technology stakeholders. It’s an asset if you have experience with Enterprise Change Management using ServiceNow- open change tickets etc.
You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
