The Opportunity
The role is for Consultants with Server Automation/ Datacenter Automation experience.
You are great at
Development of scripts to automate solutions as per client requirements and technical design.
Responsible for the development and enhancement of existing solution
Patch Management
OS build plan Management
Compliance control
Regular administrative activities like basic health checks, maintenance activities of backup, etc., Troubleshooting & fixing application functionality and performance issues, Working with Microfocus Support for complex cases
Regular operational & maintenance activities including maintaining existing integrations
Demonstration/Documentation of configurations/Solutions to customer
What it takes
Minimum 3 years of Industry experience. Should be an engineering graduate or an equivalent degree.
Must-Have Skills: Micro Focus Server Automation, Linux/Windows platform, Virtualization
Good To Have Skills: Python, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, Networking knowledge
Knowledge of Microfocus Server Automation Architecture(2018.XX and above)
Troubleshooting experience using Microfocus Server Automation
Experience in Compliance, Patch Management, OS Provisioning and Application Deployment
Automate routine task through Scripting(shell, pearl, python)
Hypervisor Management and troubleshooting(VMware & Hyper-V)
Good hands-on Windows and Linux/Unix platforms
Experience in implementing, managing, and troubleshooting different BIOS, PCIe card-related issues
Good knowledge of RAID configuration, disk-subsystem, file system, snapshot
Server Management tools such as BMC Server Automation, Ansible, Chef, SCCM, etc.
Having a good understanding of ITIL processes
Must have customer-facing skills and exposure working with a global team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication
