Work in a pivotal role in a respected Emergency Department at Mount Gambier Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and clinical leadership. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, high-quality clinical care to Emergency Department patients and inpatients requiring urgent review.
Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and supervision to trainee medical officers and junior staff.
Lead quality improvement, teaching, audit, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to optimise care, safety, and clinical systems.
Who Are We Looking For?
Do you have appropriate specialist qualifications (FACEM) and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as Medical Practitioner
Do you have extensive experience in emergency medicine, with advanced skills in resuscitation, airway management, circulatory support, and retrieval of critically ill patients, particularly in a rural setting?
Are you committed to clinical leadership, mentoring, and supporting multidisciplinary teams?
