Your Opportunity:

Forming part of the CFO Advisory team in our Consulting Division as a consultant, you will work with some of the country’s leading clients and the wider national team, in a positive, collaborative and team focused environment. This role is ideally suited to candidates who have recently finished their studies in finance and are looking to do their CA, and who are seeking an opportunity to enhance their problem-solving skills with deep finance and commercial advisory experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards with our clients. This includes technical accounting support, project management, and embedding change across finance functions to cater for the new reporting requirements
Assist with the implementation of new financial or regulatory reporting systems and policies for our clients, design and implement sound governance and control
Support the delivery of complex projects including project management, developing key client deliverables, preparing client reports and presentations, and liaising with senior leadership and external advisors
Perform data analysis to understand data quality and to inform and support robust decision making for our clients and promote effective decision making using financial tools
Have an enquiring mind and a willingness to tackle new and emerging challenges and problem solve

A commercial and analytical mindset with well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and strong project management skills
Strong understanding of the AASB framework and US GAAP, potentially with experience in implementing accounting standards changes
A Chartered Accountants (CA) qualification or equivalent
